I hope you all are okay and i hope your desires come to past with few days left before Christmas.
I have had this opinion in my mind from a very young age that hardwork pays more than talent and from the little experience and events i have gathered overtime,i certainly believe so now.
Talent is a specific ability or skill inherent in a being or an individual.Most religionist believe that talents are deposited in people by supreme beings or deities with the hope for them to actualize great things with the help of these talents.
As a christian,Talents are God's gift to man for him to actualize a purpose here on earth.Talents,when properly developed is beautiful and widely recognized because it is certainly quite unique.People have different talents inherent in them for a partucular reason or purpose.Some people sing melodiously naturally without much training or work while some can dance or are very smart,like book smart,some are good in counseling and so much more,all these are good examples of talent.
Hardwork deals with intense input of effort and edurance into a particular course or goal.It comes with determination and a die-hard attitude towards a goal.Hardwork is the cornerstone for everything worthwhile an individual wants to achieve in life.Hardwork is not inherent,it is a mere decision to put in extra effort in other to achieve success.Hardwork entails putting more hours to work with perseverance and resiliency in other to achieve a goal.If one is to achieve success in life,hardwork is essential and should not be overemphasized.Hardwork is the very roots in the tree of success.
When talent is combined with hardwork,it is glorious and such an individual is bound to achieve limitlessly.Hardwork brings out the very best in a talented individual.
I personally believe that hardwork is more essential than talent because a talented person can loss such talent without constant practice.One with talent can loss his or her vigour if such talent is not backed up with hardwork.
I am a football lover and i want to stress my point using two dominant football figures,Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.Messi is quite talented,a gifted football and most people will agree with me.His skills are inherent and quite unique.He has achieved alot thanks to his talent and undoubtedly the greatest player of all time.Ronaldo on the other hand has worked his way to the top.Most people attribute him as a great player and that is true because he has achieved a lot too like Messi although he is not as talented or gift like Messi.He stands side by side with Messi as the greatest player of all time due to his hardwork.
Also,when i was in high school,i had this very good friend of mine who was naturally smart.He was endowed and versatile.He had perfect grades and was unique due to his ability.A time came when he became less serious with his studies and started skipping school.Now,an average student in the same class with him made better grades than him at the end of the term.Although he was divinely smart yet an average student who worked hard got better grades than him.
That goes to show you what we can really achieve with hardwork.Talent is good but without hardwork,it is entirely worthless.
The efficiency of hardwork should never be overemphasized.It is the bedrock upon which we build success.
Not everybody is talented but everyone can work hard.
