A raw and vulnerable look at surviving a severe, acute psychotic episode in the winter of 2004. Running naked through the cold streets of South Harbour, first believing I was Neo and later Jesus, I narrowly avoided death by speeding traffic and freezing water. Defying the grim statistics that suggest many individuals never fully recover or face a drastically reduced life expectancy after such a crisis, I returned to the workforce, became a father, and later founded LasseCash. Today, I view myself as a bleeding lion resting under a bush on the savannah—taking the next year to completely heal my nervous system, protect my territory with calm authority, and record my journey permanently on the blockchain.
