Chaos and anarchy rules the day
Violence and hatred governs the night
Peace has become obsolete,abolished
From the world of the present men.
We forsake peace and live in fear.
Waking up in the morning
Realizing the world is gone
Swallowed up in its own whirlwind
Shattered to shambles by its hands
I fear these outcomes and possibilities
I fear losing the ones I love
Fear the numerous threats
Of popping humanity into oblivion
Destroying a beauty ecstasy of nature
Ending a divine creation of supremacy
I fear man extincting man
Hunting each other for self
Drowning each other in pool
Of blood,sweat,water and desire
I fear losing life and the afterlife.

This poem was inspired by the recent happenings in my country Nigeria,Awka to be precise and also the whole world in general.I pray the world grows to love and embrace peace,tolerance for progress of us all.
