Your matches, your bracket, your prizes, all in one place, and Fighters that always know who to hit.
Patch 0.35.2 is a tournaments patch. Your own games get a dedicated Matches
tab, the group stage can now preview the knockout bracket, the Rewards tab is
one clean prizes surface, and standings got a real glow-up. On the combat side,
targeting is now explained the same way everywhere, so you always know who your
Fighters will hit. A batch of fixes lands across replays, the draft picker, the
WARPATH battle pass, and closed-alpha rewards.
Everything about your own tournament games now lives in one place. Each
tournament gets a dedicated Matches tab that lists your games with a Won,
Lost, or Draw badge and a Watch replay link on every resolved one, plus a
Play button right where your next game is due. When a game is waiting on
you, a notification dot appears on the Matches tab and an open-matches
banner shows on the Overview with a countdown to the round close. Qualified
but nothing to play yet? The tab tells you that too.
While a tournament is still in its group stage, you can now flip to a
Bracket view and preview the knockout rounds ahead of time, seeded with
placement placeholders like "1st of Group A". You can see the shape of the
bracket you are fighting to reach before the groups even finish.
We did a full pass on how Fighters choose their targets. Every targeting
ruleset now spells out its real effect in plain, consistent language, which
enemy it forces everyone to attack and whether it overrides other targeting.
The full targeting-precedence order is now written out on the combat docs
page and in the glossary, so you can always work out who a Fighter will hit.
We also stopped two contradictory targeting rulesets from ever being rolled
into the same match, so a match can no longer hand you rules that fight each
other.
Group standings now show each player's avatar and link straight to their
profile, and a matches-remaining column tells you how much of the group is
still to play. Your next opponent's name stays hidden in the standings
until you have filed your first game, so there are no spoilers before the
round really gets going.
The old three separate Rewards cards (prize pool, payout split, and prize
ladder) are now a single prizes surface: a prize-pool hero up top and one
clear rank ladder below it, with a gold accent on the champion slot. It is
much easier to see exactly what you are playing for at a glance.
The Overview's Key dates card now shows how long a tournament runs, with
the label following its state (when it ends, when the current round ends,
or to-be-announced), and it moved to the right column so the important
dates sit where your eye lands.
A few tournament rules got cleaned up. The team-pick window is now set per
tournament instead of one global timer, with season-end tournaments
defaulting to three minutes. Season-end tournament games also always roll
two to three rulesets (never zero) at the top tier of their league family,
and show the family name on its own, so a Gold championship simply reads
Gold instead of Gold V.
Several modals with long content (the guild building info panel, the shop
standings, the terms gate, and the WARPATH daily wheel) can now be scrolled
and reached with the keyboard, and the custom tournament-invite modal traps
keyboard focus properly. Keyboard and screen-reader navigation stays
predictable everywhere.
Two replay-rendering glitches are fixed. A Fighter that died and was then
brought back by an end-of-round revive wave could stay on the board as a
0-health corpse in the front slot; it now clears correctly. And when a
single hit killed two Fighters at once, the replacement no longer visibly
jumps through a middle slot on its way forward.
In the team-draft picker, the ability, stat, and modifier icons on a
selected slot could break and show as missing after an icon update. They
now load from stable, content-addressed URLs and stay put.
In the WARPATH battle-pass info modal, the premium reward track and its
Claim buttons were clipped off the bottom and could not be reached. The
reward list now scrolls, so every tier and its Claim button is usable.
The First Pilot promo-card claim was only showing up for some closed-alpha
sign-ups. Now every alpha participant sees the claim on their Claim page no
matter how they enlisted, and the card is still minted the moment you claim
it.
More tournament polish is already in flight, and we are watching your matches
and replays closely. Thanks for playing the alpha and for keeping the feedback
coming.
