Firstly I suspect this beer is actually brewed in the UK as it is by Marstons, but it is using American hops.
I picked it up in the supermarket as something different. I have drunk beer in the US and tend to go for Samuel Adams as I find it reasonably drinkable. It has been a while, but this may be in a similar vein. It is light in colour and a little fizzy.
I would rate it as okay. It is the sort of beer that can be refreshing on a warm day, but having it on a winter evening at home it did not do much for me. I was listening in on an online open mic that I participate in.
I may not rush to get this one again any time soon, but then I did drink it all.
Live is too short for average beer.
