That snobbish attitude is not helping us. Most people will not even scroll down to read more. Don't we have the ability to limit rewards on a post? People should be able to post questions to get help and we've had some Q&A front ends that are like Stack Overflow. A pure blogging platform will have a very limited audience.

The short-forms, apart from Dbuzz, are a workaround as auto-votes might 'over reward' them as posts. I minimise my use of auto voting anyway.

I really don't have all the answers, but I don't like to see people driven away because their posts are considered unworthy.
