Well various authors have translated old works and sell them as books. You can find translations of the Norse or Greek legends on sale even though they have been translated before.

Good translation is not just a mechanical process as it requires creativity to make the result entertaining. Of course there are automatic tools now and we see people using 'chatbots' to create content too. I appreciate that figuring that out is not easy and it will only get harder as the tools improve. I do not envy your job.
