I've made it to another meeting of the Syncherts IT networking group in Stevenage. There's a panel discussion this month about marketing your small business. It's not really applicable to me, but I find it interesting and I get to meet some cool people. I originally came along looking for new career opportunities, but I found a new job elsewhere with someone who happens to be based at the same venue. I start the new job in a week. I don't general talk about my work here, but I may write about it later. I'm a developer, but this is a very different field.
Anyway, I can recommend finding a group like this where you can meet people face to face.
