It’s July 26, 2026, and It’s exactly close to one year from the time when I finished my post-graduation exam and after that I only submitted my thesis paper. From that time, I didn’t do anything specific for my career. I always said that I would be serious to prepare myself for finding a suitable job but honestly, I wasn’t serious. I think I would find a job if I were seriously finding a job. In job sector in our field, it’s not so difficult as many companies searching for experts in our field.
I didn’t face financial pressure also because I am a private tutor and finding tuition was never difficult for me as I belonged to one of the top universities of my country. I think the university name itself works as a reference in such a case and if I do 5/6 tuitions I can get 2X money compared to the average salary of people. Additionally, I have online earnings as backup support. I just need to give 5/5.5 hours in a day and it’s good enough for me. So, I didn’t find financial issue anytime even if I didn’t do a job. It was fine by me.
There was another reason for taking a break from my career. I think I was obsessed with my academic career from school, and I just feel I didn’t explore many things in life. Do you know, I didn’t even watch a series before I finished my graduation. I started to watch Anime series and drama series after graduation and after post-graduation I became aggressive in it. I don’t feel bad and I think I have watched most of the drama and anime according to my interest. I know I can’t finish watching everything, but I can see watching most of the trending and popular on at least.
It’s not that I lost my interest watching those but somehow in last few days I just feel bored. I think I have spent enough time watching and those things are not going to give me money. But I never regret passing my time watching and I feel it was needed for me and I also done some little experiment on my emotions also. I could figure out one of my weaknesses while watching dramas and anime. I didn’t expect such a weakness to exist in my personality. I think now I need to change my lifestyle.
From now on, I decided to stop watching dramas and series aggressively. It’s not good. From tomorrow, I am going to be serious again about my career and I need to give my best. I believe in my ability too, and I know what I can do when I am determined. I can’t depend on tuition for surviving and I don’t want to spend my online earnings also as I want to keep it as backup. So, I am going to be serious about finding a job and for that I may change my location also depending on posting area if I get a job. It also means new environment and meeting new people. I think it will be fun to embrace new things and new people. As I am going to be serious, I am going to prepare myself for finding a government job for a better future. I think based on my ability I can make it happen within 1 year. So, it’s time to be serious.
