I only just read about Crypto Kitties. It's a sort of Pokemon type game where you buy and breed cats that are generated by an algorithm. It's based on Ethereum and prices are pretty high. Some sell for thousands of dollars. It's becoming so popular it's slowing down transactions for everyone.
Steemit marketing man @andrarchy points out on Twitter that the Steem blockchain can handle more transactions than others. Maybe we need our own game. Most people are not into blogging, but casual games like Candy Crush make hundreds of millions. I'm sure it's possible to build a game using Steem transactions with the messages exchanging data. Any ideas?
Meanwhile the Iota coin has gone crazy. It's up a few hundred percent for no apparent reason. @marketingmonk talks about this on his podcast. As usual I don't have any of this coin, so I lost out again.
Steem on!
