Description from Strava:
I was at the pub jam session last night and it was fun. As I do not play much guitar at home I have not learnt any new songs in a while, so I went back through my folder of those I have done previously. Some of those need more practice. I mostly play drums at home these days.
I could see it was raining a little this morning, but it was just the odd spot and so I was not put off. I was doing my usual interval runs up the local hill. That is always hard work, but I have to push myself to improve. There are always a few people going up and down who might think I am a bit odd, but that is okay. The place at the top had some lights around their door. I think it is some kind of hostel/clinic.
I was listening to Somewhere on Earth Podcast and it was nice to hear my name mentioned as I left them a comment on FB. I know they do not use Twtr any more, but they are on various other social media. I am only checking FB now and again as I find it frustrating. I prefer open platforms like Mastodon and Hive, so find me on those.
I was not too wet when I got home, but I could feel I had been working hard. I did not really feel the cold. There was snow around the other night, but I did not see any.
I will have to see if parkrun is on this week. I would like to get to some other locations, but will see if I have time.
I am hoping for a DHL delivery today. They tried once when I was out and then came the next day when I was there, but did not ring the doorbell! Their web site is designed so you cannot actually type messages as I expect they get some abuse. I just want my package.
Stay dry and run free!
