Description from Strava:
I was not sure how my legs would be after the cycling I did yesterday, but they did not feel too bad this morning. It was slightly overcast out there, so I was hoping it would not be too warm.
I did a variant on my usual Sunday loop. I did try to push the pace a little, but was not going crazy as I wanted to get some distance in. Strava says that a fair bit of it was under 6min/km and I am happy with that.
The photos were at the stone sculpture in the new Stotfold estate that celebrates a few local features and the road works near there that seem to be expanding. I am not sure what they are actually doing there. I think I could have fun that way, but I explored a different route today.
I saw a few other runners out there, but nobody I know. On the long trek across the fields there were some walkers and cyclists I have to make way for.
I did not feel too bad at the end, but it was enough.
I checked on the chicken as her food has been disappearing. There was actually a rat in the feeder! It ran off having had its fill. This feeder was supposed to be pest-proof. I have raised it up a little, so perhaps that will make it harder for them to get in. Our single chicken has been laying regularly, so I get something for my efforts.
Enjoy your Sunday and run free!
