Description from Strava:
I am not a regular football watcher, but I was drawn to seeing England play the Netherlands in the Euro24 semi-final. Actually I was watching something else and when I switched over it was already 1:1 after 20 minutes. We had to wait until the very end for the deciding goal that put England in the final. That will be interesting against Spain, but I never get my hopes up when it comes to such things.

Meanwhile, I needed to get out and run this morning and it was really nice out there. It has been another mixed week and I got soaked on my way home the other day. I did the alternate fast and slow km workout again. I saw the usual pace improvement as I went on that is due to whether I am going up or down the hills. I did feel better as I went on.

I listened to an episode of Things Fell Apart where Jon Ronson looks into the origins of various 'culture war' issues. This is very interesting as a lot of these issues have really blown up lately. Most people will not know the real story behind them.

I may need to volunteer at parkrun again this week as they are short of people. It is a while since I ran there, but that is okay.

Run free.
