Hello to all steemians with medical interests!

I feel like our "medicine" section could be much more exciting and even useful for people learning about medicine or studying it professionally. So far it's mostly popular science and "you can cure the cancer with fresh carrot juice" articles.

It's easy to understand why, to write a good article takes time and effort. I personally prefer to have my photography hobby to create my posts, it's much easier to post a picture.

So here is a thought: would people be interested in a medicine related contest? Some common problems, images, laboratory test? Those would have to sufficiently common to be of interest to everyone, students, nurses, paramedics, doctors and allied health, maybe even lay persona?

If there is enough interest I will introduce it with a small reward to the winner, to keep it interesting. I will use my own, very limited steem amount to get the ball rolling. Hopefully it will generate enough interest to fund future contests. And if you publish a post with an answer that will be a reward in itself, you'll get votes and SBD for your post from fellow steemians.
