That's a quote from President Trump and he likes to keep promises. That is the only way to command respect.

Chuck and Nancy promised they would negotiate the wall if he would "just open the government."

There are politicians, and nobody has respected politicians in my lifetime. I have always heard voters say things like "the lesser of two evils." Politicians are either one evil or another.

As it stands...

If Nancy funds the wall, she caves.

If she doesn't, it gets built anyway and nothing she ever proposes will ever get the President's signature.

So even though the wall is already being built (drone video from last September), the countdown continues.

I don't know about you, but I see concrete trucks there. Maybe it is a concrete wall below ground, and a steel barrier above ground. Either way, this video is from five months ago and has not stopped while they talk about how they won and the President caved.
