Once upon a time...There was a middle aged(63) man who wanted to get in on the latest thing in the world of money.He had problems getting on "coinbase" because he is on a temporary hiatus in the Philippines.He tried to show his US drivers license,but it appeared his hand did not hold the card steady enough for the camera. Soooo he waited a week.
Suddenly a light bulb went off. Why not take a picture and send it to himself. Which he did.
So far so good. Then he downloaded a "breadwallet",since the online reviews said how easy it was.
It took some time for it to sync.It had to sync every time he turned it on. So he found the qr,but there were no letters and numbers underneath it. No matter how he tried he could not transfer his btc to his new wallet.Coinbase instructions said if you have a qr click the (whatever) on the upper right....where his picture is.There was no "whatever" Oh well. Was he a bad guy? He didn't think so.So why him?
"A good question" he answered.
So he took his basket of goodies to his grandmas house,where she looked mysteriously like a wolf!
As you may well have guessed, at age 63,his grandma had been gone for quite a while,(and not by the wolf)
So maybe he wouldn't get the split and the extra bcc he heard so much about. Some would say it served him right for being slow to react. Some might say it was someone else's fault.Some might say he was technically challenged.
Some(but very few) might blame it on Grandma! But not me.Nope. I blame the writer of this story.(with good reason too)
If you havn't guessed by now...it's Me! I take full responsibility,and have been offered some help from "Breadwallet" in the morning if we can get in under the wire. If not I think it's great they gave it a shot.There is a 15 hour time difference between the West coast and the Philippines,so someone is always tired or sleeping.Now back to the story..,
So no matter what all was good,and he had plans to live(of course) are you ready for it? As the story always goes...
