Dear friends, I am happy, I am recovering well in health and found many good mushrooms on Sunday. Among the various problems was over a month that I didn't do activity, but in the last few days I felt good and in strength, so I went for a mountain walk, hoping to meet some tasty mushroom.
Cari amici sono felice, sto recuperando bene la salute e ho trovato molti funghi buonissimi domenica. Tra i vari problemi era più di un mese che non facevo attività, ma negli ultimi giorni mi sentivo bene e in forze, così sono andato a fare una passeggiata in montagna, sperando di incontrare qualche gustoso fungo.
In the hike I was in the company of my friend Luca and my mom, for Luca was a good test, because he is reduced to a severe fracture of the femur, and he was for a long time that he didn't face a good walk. Everything are going smooth, rightfully calm but has no problem, he was remarkably happy to see a good recovery. As mentioned earlier, it's okay, we went home with the full basket. However, the beginning had not been a good wish, from 7:30 to 10:00 we had not found anything. At that point you start to be a bit disappointed and you also pass the desire to continue, but all of a sudden here is the first boletus, beautiful and fresh, we start to reason.
Nell'escursione ero in compagnia del mio amico Luca e di mia mamma, per Luca era un bel test, perchè è reduce di una grave frattura scomposta del femore, ed era da molto che non affrontava una bella camminata. Tutto è filato liscio, giustamente con calma, ma non ha avuto nessun problema, era notevolmente felice di vedere un buon recupero. Come detto in precedenza, è andata bene, siamo tornati a casa con il cestello pieno. Tuttavia, l'inizio non era stato di buon auspicio, dalle 7:30 fino alle 10:00 non avevamo trovato nulla. A quel punto inizi essere un po' deluso e ti passa anche la voglia di proseguire, ma tutto ad un tratto ecco il primo Porcino, bello fresco, iniziamo a ragionare.
Five minutes later, here's the second, then the third, fourth and fifth together and so on. It was quite strange about the matter, because I didn't find anything for almost three hours and then done almost the full, I had never happened. Look at these three gorgeous boletus found by Luca, the beautiful thing is that two minutes ago he was saying, textual words "that shit! Walked for 3 hours to find nothing!".
Cinque minuti dopo, ecco il secondo, poi il terzo, quarto e quinto assieme e così via. É stata abbastanza particolare la faccenda, perchè non trovare nulla per quasi tre ore e poi fare quasi il pieno, non mi era mai capitato. Guardate questi tre splendidi porcini trovati da Luca, il bello è che due minuti prima stava dicendo, testuali parole "che merda! camminato per 3 per non trovare nulla!".
The only thing I was disappointed is that I wasn't having found some nice pile of Armillaria mellea in this period, I only found these, which came from a pine root.
Ecco, l'unica cosa che mi ha deluso è non aver trovato qualche bel mucchio di chiodini in questo periodo, ho trovato solo questi, che spuntavano da una radice di pino.
It isn't the first time that I find some boletus in the autumn, but it is still quite rare, because the temperatures dropped a lot, at 7:00 on the top of the Asiago plateau there were only 4 degrees. But some say they have even found it with snow, but never seen with my eyes, though there are some pictures around. Finally laughing and joking, having started to find they late, we continued to walk up to 2pm, following roughly what the app of the smartphone says 7.5km. There aren't many but not a few in a very steep forest because where I left the car at about 1100 meters I went up the woods to the penultimate hairpin bend that takes you to a hut that is at about 1800 meters.
Non è la prima volta che mi capita di trovare porcini in autunno, ma è pur sempre abbastanza raro, anche perchè le temperature sono calate molto, alle 7:00 in cima all'Altopiano di Asiago c'erano solo 4 gradi. Ma certi sostengono di averli trovati addirittura con la neve, mai visto però con i miei occhi, anche se ci sono alcune immagini in giro. Alla fine ridi e scherza, avendo iniziato a trovare tardi, abbiamo continuato a camminare fino alle 14:00, percorrendo circa da quanto dice l'app dello smartphone 7,5 km. Non sono moltissimi ma neanche pochi in un bosco molto ripido, perchè da dove ho lasciato l'auto a circa 1100 metri sono salito per il bosco fino al penultimo tornante che ti porta a una baita che sta a circa 1800 metri.
I'm quite happy for the good walk I've been able to do, and for the booty brought home, about 1.5 kg of boletus and a handful of Armillaria mellea. I hope you enjoyed the post, I also tell you that the mushrooms are very healthy, I haven't discarded anything and already tried, very tasty 😙.
Sono abbastanza soddisfatto sia per la buona passeggiata che sono riuscito a fare, che per il bottino portato a casa, circa 1,5 kg di porcini e una manciata di chiodini. Spero vi sia piaciuto il post, inoltre vi dico che i funghi sono sanissimi, non ho scartato nulla e già provati, buonissimi 😙.
