As a followup to my previous post,
https://steemit.com/steem/@starworld/steemit-account-values-grossly-overstated
A post shows a total payout amount of $7.40, the amount to be divided equally, 50% for the Author, and 50% for the Curators. The post had 22 upvotes. By my calculation, this would mean that $3.70 (curator amount) would be divided equally among the post's 22 curators, resulting in approximately $0.17 per curator (or approximately 1 Steem). Yet when the rewards were actually paid out, I received only 0.007 steam (99% less than the claimed payout amount). There are numerous examples of this sort of thing happening. In short, it looks like we are all being cheated by SteemIt, and cheated in a big way.
If I have somehow misunderstood something here, or have miscalculated something, I would most welcome anyone who could point that fact out to me, otherwise I think that a full investigation into SteemIt's way of doing business is an absolute must.
