I really do not think that I am missing anything here. The proof is there, easy enough for anyone to see. But let me spell it out for you! The problem is not with a specific post, or specific article, but rather seems to be with all of them. Here are the facts:

When I opened my account last month, I deposited a total of 700 Steem. Since then I have written 4 or 5 articles, and while they did not pay a lot, they were still suppose to pay a few cents. I have also upvoted more than 1000 posts, each one of them averaging 2 to 3 cents or more for each curator. I also posted several comments and replies. Yet despite all that activity, my total number of Steem have actually gone down from my initial 700 to just over 680. How is that possible? Can you explain that?

As for other people not complaining, well judging from the caliber of many of the posts I see here, I think it rather obvious that many SteemIt members are certainly not the brightest lights on the tree. Most of them would likely not have the first clue as to how to determine if they were being paid correctly, or not.

In any event, I would also like to know what calculation SteemIt uses to come with the total value of my account to be US $135.22 with just 682 Steem? That valuation pegs a Steem at almost US $0.20 each, whereas the actual current trading price for Steem is just under US $0.14. This proves the fact is that SteemIt is valuing accounts at more than 40% higher than they are actually worth. If SteemIt is willing to mislead in such a way, one can only wonder just how else SteemIt is willing to mislead members? As I stated in my last post, these matters need to be thoroughly investigated, as there is something terribly wrong here.
