REMOTE JOB OR WORK FULL TIME ? || MY PREFRENCE AND WHY
𝖣𝖾𝗌𝗂𝗀𝗇𝖾𝖽 𝗎𝗌𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝖼𝖺𝗇𝗏𝖺
When I asked a few people these questions, I got identical replies and almost the same reasoning from everyone. Many people, including me, would prefer to work remotely over a full-time job that needs them to be at their workplace at regular hours.
At the same time, the tough part about working remotely is that there are no breaks and much more is expected of you because you are not in the office but in the comfort of your environment, whether at home or elsewhere. You have no breaks and may have deadlines to meet depending on the type of job and skills required.
When it comes to procrastination, I feel it might be an issue for people who choose to work remotely. They would believe they had unlimited time and would devote it to other things, especially if they are a family person or have many other interests and remote employment. Finally, this does not end well for such a person because they may find it difficult to fulfil deadlines and combine their real-world interests and professional life. Because remote employment combines your personal and professional lives.
Even with all of the disadvantages of remote work that I have discussed, I would always prefer working remotely to working full-time. My rationale is that I value my privacy and dislike being on the road for extended periods of time. I grew up in a city where traffic is widespread, and if one is attempting to get to work, one will most likely arrive late due to the so-called traffic. The aggravation I felt prompted me to explore alternatives, and when I discovered one could work remotely, I realised that was just what I needed.
This may likely be me in the future after I have hit a speed of 120 WPM typing speed, right now I am in 80 WPM

For me, having to spend most of my time at home is like nirvana. I am someone who would like to make time for my future wife and children, to see them frequently, and even to organise outings together, where we go out as a family or even try out new meals from other restaurants, and all that sort of thing.
Seee how cute homer simpson his while having time for his kids. Who wouldn't love a father like this...
Because my father wasn't always available to us, I never got to enjoy family gatherings. He was usually busy and travelling, so we only went out as a family when there was a normal family occasion, such as a family member getting married, having a birthday party (which we rarely went to), or celebrating the arrival of a newborn child. This is typically the only time I got to spend with my family, and I never liked it or felt like I enjoyed my childhood. I definitely want my future children to have a unique experience.
I literally had a boring childhood and was raised to be an introvert...
I can be smiling one second with everyone, and then decide to be on alone

Everyone would probably like to work remotely, but it all comes down to the abilities one possesses and the challenges one can solve. Otherwise, the dream of working remotely would remain fiction and empty words, never to be realised.
A reason why a person chose full-time over working remotely...
While I was asking everyone this question, I discovered that someone preferred to work full-time rather than remotely. The individual stated that she preferred full-time work since she enjoys monotonous tasks. She liked the sense of having to wake up in the morning and know what to do next, of having to dress up to look really great and meet other people.
In my opinion, she is an extrovert because she enjoys physical interaction with others and receiving compliments on her appearance. All of this is what keeps us sane. This is a good explanation, and I am sure there are others like her who have the same thought or feel the same way.
The fact is that certain remote jobs might be depressing at times since you may not have someone nearby to readily or physically reach out to when there are hurdles to overcome while still meeting a deadline. However, when you work full-time and have your coworkers around you, these issues can be readily tackled as a team and the problem is solved much faster.
