A cover for my graphic novel "Android Blues", that I've been working on for almost 20 years.
It's about an android of course, created by humans for our own nefarious purposes, and immediately on activation she ends up in a really bad situation. The ultimate exploitation of an innocent. Soon I'll post a few pages of it.
Some of the process - I modeled the character in Maya, and applied lighting, then painted over that in Photoshop:
