Had a interesting experience correcting a Basic Attention Token(erc20)transaction that was stuck. I don't know what the hell happened. Possibly a gas (transaction fee) issue. I had to make multiple transactions with enough gas to try to push the stuck transaction through. In the end my app "disappeared" a bunch of ether tokens. Not the value just the entries. All I had to do was re-add the tokens to the list in my app (coinomi).
This whole thing started when I tried to exchange BAT for Dogecoin. I never got the Doge but I never lost the BAT. Weird yes lol. But it is scary when your transaction is locked and won't confirm as send or receive. Thankfully it worked itself out and even if it would have been lost it's under $30 equivalent so not the biggest issue.
Lesson learned.
