Day after day, time passes by me,
I look in the mirror, I’m not who I thought I’d be,
I thought that by now I’d be on top of the world,
But is not that easy, as in time I’ve learned.
In this everyday struggle, every second matter,
Because in a simple second, the whole world could shatter,
And I’m filled with laughter, when the Earth rotates around the Sun,
And I feel that I’m not done.
The third dimension, this goddamn human invention,
Which baffles my comprehension,
Time moves too fast and is always not enough,
Because a second is here and then is… puff.

I wrote this poem back in April 2017 (at least this is what my google drive is telling me). It's still a reality now as it was back then. It seems that time is never enough. Now more than ever.
