reality hits you fast,
when your goal is in your grasp,
the question that pops in your mind is “What’s next?”.
Happiness, just for a second lasts,
then you wake up to reality,
and realise the gravity
of your actions.
There’s no end goal.
From birth till death,
the search for a meaning never stop.
There’s always something behind the corner
in this big labyrinth we call life,
and you’re not Theseus,
you don’t have a magic thread,
there’s not Minotaur to kill,
There’s only you…
What are you looking for?
What do you want?
What will you do when you will get it?
You don’t know,
Because nobody ever does.
And when you think you’ll find it,
it will melt in your hand like a snowflake,
and then you’ll try to catch another one,
until spring will come.
