I’ve been afraid, walking out blind,
Without a destination, a purpose to find,
Wandering the steep valleys of my mind,
Looking behind, afraid of my shadow,
Afraid of unknown. Can I stand my own?
Asking each day, is this still okay?
Asking each day, is this still the way?
What can I say? what can I do?
I look in a mirror and I can’t see through,
I can’t recognize, is this who I am?
Is it me out there, looking like a lamb?...
No, I refuse to admit the set definition,
I was not created for this kind of mission,
And just from this thought there’s sparks of ambition,
And just from this thought there is the ignition.
I set the steep valley on fire,
My whole being is burning with desire,
And from the deep you can hear the growl,
And from the deep there is… the lion’s ROAR.

This is an older poem of mine. I've written it after watching the Tony Robbins documentary. I was inspired especially by the lion story. It's a really powerful story, that makes all your blood boil and makes you jump out of the chair. I've managed to find it on youtube (bad quality, but you can still find hear the story):
