Happy Friday everyone, I went with my husband and our friends to a lovely Javanese market here in Paramaribo, Suriname.
This market so far from my house and this is my first time go to there. Here have dessert just like Cambodia, it surprise me very much.
These desserts are like my country, so I buy some for my girls. I knew they will be very happy to see them.
This is first time for us to see basil and mint like Cambodia here, but it’s not for to buy them for eating.
If we need to eat them, the first time we need to buy tree and grow them, then we can eat it. Haha, this is not okay in my country.
In Cambodia we have so many basil and mint in all the market and everywhere, they are have so many and cheap price.
We buy a basil tree because it’s not cheap and we will to grow it for making food. I love it very much.
This man sells syrup drinks.
These are Java foods.
These are jicama I buy from Java market also. My two daughters are very glad to see them and eat.
We can’t eat these vegetables a long time already. I buy vegetables, desserts and fruits so much from Java market.
I hope I will go over there again because they have ingredients like my country, but everything more expensive than the market near my house.
