When starting out on Steemit there were a couple of people pushing an initiative to get redfish to minnows hoping to push the prize of Steemit and overall platform further (check out @tenkminnows for more).
Among those people were @steevc,
@cryptoandcoffee,
@paulag, @ to name a few.
After reaching this Minnow level I thought of a way to give back. One way was to always follow the key supporters, upvote and comment on their posts.
Now, this is just an idea, how about we get some publicity to start a tenkdolphins initiative?
Maybe there was one already?
As I have not so much experience in doing so and there are needs more to this than one person - the question is whether people are interested in this at all?
First we would need the support of many dolphins and a couple of whales for sure!
However, we should not underestimate the power of minnows and anyone else as well.
From what I have seen, Orcas and Dolphins are the whales I was expecting. Unfortunately (or fortunately) most whales are bots, but Dolphins and Orcas are mainly real people, with real content supporting good content or great people.
I believe this would accumulate the power to people rather sharing their strength than some voting or delegation bots.
As you can see @revisesociology who wrote about the distribution of Steem Power and mentioned
@arcange's statistics showing that Orcas and Dolphins have the most of active Steem Power.
With this initiative we would give back and have more power for the next generation of strong minnows and high potential redfish.
What do you all think?
