Femtoplankton: Viruses and small bacteria less than 0.2 micrometers in size. You signed up for Steemit and thought no way, it's too complicated and never logged in again.
Picoplankton: less than 2, but greater than
0.2 micrometers in size. You posted once saying "hello".
Ultraplankton: between 0.5 – 10 micrometers in size. You might have made 2 post. One saying "hello", the other saying "goodbye "
Nanoplankton: 2 – 20 micrometers in size. 10post made but your account balance is still 3.00 so you quit and forgot your password.
Microplankton: 20 – 200 micrometers in size. You made an introduceyourself post and received no reward, you continued to post hoping to earn 1 SBD and after 3 weeks gave up and went back to facebook.
Netplankton: older term based on plankton net with 80 micrometer mesh. You thought you were net savvy but Steemit's blockchain technology was too much to comprehend so you tried a bot to earn votes but got flagged and downvoted and never returned.
Macroplankton: visible to the naked eye, visible to the Steemit community. You post and post and don't care how many post you post. You hope one day to be a fish, a dolphin, or a whale. You actually earned a few STEEM and have a few SBD. your vote counts for a penny. You've made an achievement and are hooked. God help you.
