So I was visiting @traciyork S blog as I frequently do. Her latest article of the blue moon this month cause me a flash back memory to occur, so I felt obliged to post it here.
I have a memory of one evening in December when the air was only slightly chilled and a few of my friends were sitting around a bonfire on the shores of Padre Island with a washed in tree to lean up against and hardly a breeze to be felt. We were thumping on buckets for a beat, Sprinkles was playing his harmonica, Laura was strumming her guitar to a new song she had wrote, the beer was cold, our stomachs full of redfish and trout, the joints had been pasted around or still burning as incense. The moon has hardly risen and was full that night. I mean it was huge, enormously large and yellowish orange as I looked up two dolphins had volted out of the water and crossed each other going different directions. The image was seared in our minds as all of us sat there in awe with tears in our eyes saying to each other OMG did you see that, did you see that whoooaaaa... Dude God loves us so much my long haired hippie friend said to me offering a high five while passing the herb. I'll never forget that night when heaven had came down to earth and blessed us all with brother and sisterly love. All under the light of the full moon.
