So here you are. You just moved in to a new apartment and have little money left but need to get on the internet with something other than a cell phone. What do you do? Try a Raspberry Pie.
At less than 40 bucks USD. you get a quad core computer the size of a credit card that you can plug in to the back of your TV via a HDMI cable. That and a cheap USB keyboard and mouse you'll be on the www in no time.
Getting started you'll need to get a class 10 micro SD card to put the operating system on it and if you have nothing but an android phone you can get an app called PI SD Imager

Simply put the blank SD card in your phone after downloading the app and it will write a copy of NOOBS (New Out Of Box Software) to the SD card then place it in your Raspberry and plug it in to boot your new toy computer.
Select from whichever OS you wish to install and in no time you'll be online paying bills and blogging on Steemit.com it really is pretty much that simple and I'm still amazed at what the little Raspberry can do considering it's size.
Total cost for it all:
Raspberry Pi 40
Keyboard. 15
Mouse. 10
Ethernet cable. 5
For less than 80 bucks you can get your www fix or use it to make some Steem.
