Paddle cactus are blooming here in South Texas. A lot of people don't give much attention to the lowly paddle cactus. Yesterday I got a rare day off work so I took a bicycle ride down to one of my favorite hang out's in Corpus Christi and took a few pictures to show.
Now that's yellow! Such a beautiful flower from such a blah plant.
Think I'll just sit back right here and have a look around.

Not much there either... Ahhhhhh.... Yep here's a fine place to kick back for awhile and escape the world....Hey. where are you guys going. (looking up)..
Now that's the way to travel... Guess I'll move on and go see what else there is to see. Maybe I'll go downtown.
