Hello all Splinterlands players, this weeks battle challenge is using "Dragons". I'm fortunate enough to have a guild member that delegated me a couple of good dragon cards. So I'll be doing my battle challenge with "Chaos Dragon".
Special thanks to @bigbarger for the card delegations.

This battle has a Mana cap of 99. This means you can use pretty much any monsters you have available. My strategy using "Chaos Dragon" is mostly making use of it's "Scattershot" ability and high magic attack power. With this ability I situate the card in the backfield so he can take random shots at different enemy positions. Keep in mind with a magic attack you will be guaranteed a hit and ignore armor. In this battle "Chaos Dragon" kills 3 enemies single-handedly. To keep him safely shooting I used "Grund" as a tank for his high HP and backed him up with armor granted by "Queen Mycelia" and a tank heal by "Goblin Psychic". Also, any side fire would be redirected to "Mycelic Slipspawn" since he has the "Taunt" ability. With all of this back-up in place it would be difficult to take "Grund" down thus leaving "Chaos Dragon" open to take out several enemies. In the end, the enemy is wiped out and never made a single kill. As a matter of fact, I stuck "Djinn Chwala" in the back to utilize his "Thorns" ability if the enemy had used an attack from the back. But they were destroyed so quickly that "Djinn Chwala" saw no action the entire battle. Take the time to watch this battle and you'll see how treacherous the "Chaos Dragon" can be. Lastly, keep in mind that if the enemy had got through the front line they still would have had to deal with "Chaos Dragon" head to head. With 10Hp 4armor and 3magic attack this monster is hard to deal with even alone. If you like my tactics be sure to "follow" me as I also post Free Card Giveaways from time to time. If your new to the game or don't know anything about Blockchain gaming (that was me back in January) I'll be happy to help you get set up so feel free to contact me on Facebook. For everyone who's already on Hive, be sure to check out my battle using the link below, thanks for reading.
