Hello Guys! Welcome to another Splinterlands battle! I had another ranked battle against an opponent named WEATHERLOVE. This time the mana limit was 89 so I had plenty of mana to use. Last time I only had 33 mana which meant I could only play 3 cards. However, since I had a higher mana limit, I was able to play my full deck. As it was a standard game, there were no special modifiers. I decided to go with my usual fire element again as I have been having some good results with it recently. My rating was currently 640 and I hoped to win so that I could bring myself closer to leaving Division 8.

I went with my usual Jolius Blast as my first card. I have been using this card a lot lately and it has been working very well. I then went with Frankarsgard as my second card. My third card was Chaos Furybringer. I then decided to go with Vengeful Monk as my fourth card. My fifth card was Great Bear Druid. Lastly I went with Ash Archer. I have used this card before and enjoy having it in my deck. As I had a lot of mana to work with, I wanted to play more cards.
Their first card had 12 health and 5 armour which made me a little nervous. It would be difficult to get past their armour. The other cards they had looked strong too.
I also noticed that my enemy had a much higher rating and I think we had fought each other before. He had 870 whereas I only had 640. This made me quite nervous as to whether I would win this battle. However, I had already picked my cards so couldn't change them. I just wanted to see if my fire deck would work well against them.
The battle lasted for 7 rounds which was longer than I was expecting. As we both had 6 cards, I knew it wouldn't be as easy as my last battle. I was watching my cards attack and hoping that my deck would last long enough to win. I was not sure if my team could beat my enemy's line up. However, I started to feel like I had a chance to win.
I won the battle I was so happy as I had defeated someone with a much higher rating than me. I gained +40 rating and got 92 Glint. My rating has increased to 680. I am still in Division 8 however I was happy with my 4th win in a row. It was great that my fire deck was able to beat someone with a rating of 850. I did not expect to do so well in this battle.
Future Goals
My rating is now 680 so I want to keep playing ranked and hopefully go up a division soon. I have been using my fire element a lot recently and have been having some good results.
