In fact, dragon is one of my favorite splinters and also the most used one among all splinters.
In my deck, I have most of the Chaos Legion and its reward dragons. Basically, I like all of them. In my daily ranked battles, Guild brawl, tournament, friend challenge....etc all kinds of battles, once I have chance to use them, I will.
When I saw this week's battle challenge, It's a difficult question for me:
Should I only pick 1 dragon to share or all of them or few?
Finally, I decided to pick 3 of them which are the ones I like the most to share for this week.
#1. Quix De Devious; #2. Carnage Titan; #3. Chaos Dragon
Then the questions come:
Here due to I'm mainly playing in Gold league, either Gold III or Gold II, therefore, all the points that I'm going to talk about are specifically for this league. Other leagues, may have different preference over different dragons.
Quix is one of the legendary dragon summoner among many. But he is the only one in the Chaos Legion. I saw a few good things on him which makes me pick him as the top choice:
As for the strategy of using it, I heavily use it in these scenarios:
Carnage Titan is the latest air drop legendary dragon. He is also my most favorite one. In fact, during the eye candy session of last few months townhall, I saw it, but at that time, I thought this dragon should not be somewhat attractive. However, after it dropped out, I got a level 3 to try. Pretty surprised, it's very powerful in all axes. attack (with his double strike), defend(with his shield ability), survive(7 Armor with 8 health) and flexible at all positions(depends on battle strategy and its ruleset). However, the only drawback I can see is his 10 mana cost which limits its usage must be in the high mana cost battles.
As for the strategy of using it, I heavily use it in these scenarios:
Chaos Dragon is an early legendary dragon. This is also the one very powerful in all axes. Attack, Defend, Survive and flexibility on positions. Same drawback with Titan, even more, he has a 14 mana cost. This also defines the Chaos Dragon could be only used in high mana cost battles.
Whenever there's enough mana cost, I used this card with Few reasons:
After knowing these 3 dragons I have.
The first battle is a high mana cost with Super sneak and Melee Mayhem rulesets. I like such kind of battle.
The main strategy that I had for this kind of battle are always follow below sequence to pick monsters 0==>4
For the position how to arrange the picked monsters, I followed the rule of
Now we knew all those strategies. Let's look at how the battle was setup on both sides.
From this, whether you can guess how the result will be?
Check the video for the result and let me know your opinion in the comment session.
The second battle is also a high mana cost battle with Holy Protection ruleset.
The main strategy that I had for this kind of battle are always follow below sequence to pick monsters 0==>4
For the position how to arrange the picked monsters, I followed the rule of
After it, how you think about the setup on both side? We only have 3 monsters are different on both sides.
Will the result give a big difference? please check out in the video and let us know your opinion on it.
The last battle is again a high mana cost battle with Melee Mayhem ruleset.
The main strategy that I had for this battle is some how similar to the battle #1, the minor difference is instead of picking all Demoralize monsters, I picked on with both encourage and thorns abilities.
In terms of monsters' position, due to the Melee Mayhem is the reverse ruleset with Super sneak, so i reversed the arrangement as the one described in battle #1.
After everything is set, how you think about the setup on both side? Melee vs. magic team.
Will the result go with your expectation? please check out in the video and let us know your opinion on it.
Up to now, it's the end of this sharing. If you are new to splinterlands, it's more a fun game than an earning project.
