It's another midnight here, hello midnighters! Tonight’s thought is a really interesting one and it goes if I had the chance to travel through time, would I rather go to the past or the future? Honestly and i believe this will be the popular opinion, I would rather travel to the past, and there are so many reasons why that choice feels right to me. The future is exciting and mysterious, but the past carries the stories that shape the future and in essence that shape the world we live in today. Traveling into a living history book. Instead of reading about events, I would actually see them with my own eyes. History has always fascinated me, i dare say im a history buff but books and documentaries can only show so much. Being there physically would make it feel real in a way nothing else could. Hell id take just traveling five minutes to the past.

One of the biggest reasons I would travel to the past is the opportunity to learn from it and maybe buy bitcoin early. Lol! but yeah i defintely would have, but on a more serious note Imagine being able to witness early moments firsthand and truly understand what people were thinking and feeling at that time and im of the strong opinion that some of the thngs that tell us as history were mostly lies, thankfully we have social media now, so we are able to debunk some lies told but it of course comes with its own setbacks. I would love the chance to go back to certain points in my life and make better choices. There are times when we ignore advice, times when we trust the wrong people, or moments when fear stops us from doing the right thing. At the time we think we are making the best decisions, but later we realize we could have handled things differently. If I could return to those moments, I would approach them with the wisdom I have now. I would avoid mistakes that once cost me time, energy, and opportunities.

Sometimes also with regards to the past we watch situations unfold and only realize later what we should have done to help someone. Maybe it was a friend who needed support, a family member who needed advice, whom got the wrong advice(guilty of this) or a moment where speaking up could have made a difference(also guilty of this). Going back would allow me to step into those situations again and make better decisions that could positively change someone’s life.

And to be honest the future is uncertain. Visiting the future might reveal things we are not ready to see or understand yet. Who knows what future id be traveling to, maybe some post apocalyptic world or somethin. gSometimes the mystery of the future is part of what makes life exciting. If we already knew everything that would happen, it might take away the beauty of discovery and hope.

So if I ever had the chance to travel through time, I would choose the past without hesitation, if wishes were horses right......
