Being the Real You doesn’t have to be a Herculean task just as many people pose it to be. I believe being Real is having it the way it is supposed to be. Man is naturally hypocritical that is why being deceptive has become the new norm. But still, many well renowned people would give you the idea that you can decide to lick ass but it will come at you but being the Real You comes with peace and integrity. The new generation would not want to comply with this ideology because many lies have been sold to them through all sort of media, making it difficult to differentiate between real ones and fake ones. I have been in my thoughts lately trying to figure out why lies are easily appreciated than truth, I came to realize that naturally man can be convinced with lies to soothe his imagination or want than striving for the real truth. Africa as a whole has been covered with so many lies which this new generation careless about but the sooner we realize who we are the better. Trying to become something you don’t even know how it originated puts a lot of pressure than accepting who you really are. Even has lies circulated the internet, people will pay more for the truth, respect a real person over a fake ass clown.
Just like a African proverb ‘ you will surely need 99 more lies to cover just one lie’ than saying the truth. We Africans need to accept our true Mother Nature. Enjoy your day guys and will be happy to have your upvotes and comments.
