The BTC guessing game for this week takes place amidst a challenging period for the overall crypto market. Recent developments include the increased scrutiny of major exchanges Coinbase and Binance by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). These regulatory actions have created a sense of uncertainty and hindered the market's recovery.

However, amidst these challenges, Coinbase has made an interesting announcement. The popular exchange has introduced a rewards program for its global customers, offering a 4 percent reward on USD Coin (USDC). USDC is a stablecoin designed to maintain a value pegged to the US dollar. It is backed by reserve assets, including cash, held in accounts with regulated financial institutions in the US.

This move by Coinbase aims to provide additional benefits to its users and strengthen the appeal of stablecoins in the volatile crypto market. By offering rewards on USDC, Coinbase aims to incentivize its customers to hold and utilize this stablecoin, which provides stability amidst the market fluctuations.

While the regulatory probes by the US SEC continue to create uncertainties, Coinbase's rewards program reflects their commitment to innovation and customer-centric offerings. • if there are two tips equally near to the winning value, the one that is given earlier is the winning one
• a tip that is exactly on spot with the full dollar rounded reference price will win the Jackpot
• the reference price will be taken from Coingeko; (see the following reference) and rounded to a full dollar number
