We are all unique, and we have different lifestyles; this is why not everyone knows how to maintain a low-key life when they're rich, and some are very good at appearing very low-key when they're rich. Some rich people appear very arrogant in their lifestyle, such as buying heaven & earth and showing off on the internet. They hardly stay hidden; they're always on one trip to another. As we see this lifestyle on social media, we begin to admire them and want to get that kind of lifestyle one day.
If you asked me which lifestyle I would choose- either living a low-key life or living a show-off life- when I become rich? I would choose the simple, low-key lifestyle. Naturally, I don't like attention; it gives me a headache, so I shy away from it.

In one way, another way, wealth displayed on social media is a mere show-off; it puts pressure on people to be like them (wealthy), and people can go to any lengths to become wealthy. It's just like what Daniel Regha said in one of his recent posts about how most men of God in Nigeria flaunt their expensive material possessions on social media and use them to boast while preaching, and they go ahead and shun internet crime. They ought to live a low-key life even in their wealthy state as they preach against the trends of internet fraud that have eaten deep into society. This is because their lifestyle is also pressuring people to go all out to make money irrespective of the means they use.

Many times we've seen how Mark Zuckerberg, the owner of Facebook, displays his simple lifestyle, and yet he's one of the richest humans on earth. What stops us from living like that? There's nothing in show-offs.
