Once you start doing something you always wanted to, the universe opens up and helps you. It's then up to you to use that help or simply ignore.
But it's not only what you do that matters - it's the perception you have. The mindset. The overall view on life.
Every moment something happens - you have a choice. Either you see it as an opportunity or an obstacle. It is entirely up to you!
And when you fail - and you will fail a lot, especially in the beginning, the most important thing is to not give up. Making mistakes is a way to learn and grow. You didn't learn how to walk without falling first. Same goes with writing, reading and anything you know how to do. It was a struggle at first.
Thing is - as we grow older, we tend to lose the enthusiasm we had when we were kids. Many of us stop when an obstacle comes our way but some of us see it as another step to become wiser. They don't give up just because something unexpected happened.
In fact - the less you expect, the smaller is the probability that you will give up. Every little bug in your code will be seen as an opportunity to correct your mistake and it will become a habit.
Me, personally - I love writing. I know I have a lot to learn because English isn't my first language but it's exciting. Each new word I learn gives me more possible outcomes. It's an experience that matters and the only way to get experience is to do.
As they say in Nike commercials - Just do it.
