Hi Everyone,

Racism is one of the most taboo topics in the West. It is treated as the vilest form of discrimination possible. In the UK, people genuinely fear being perceived as racist. There are good reasons to fear this perception. People’s careers have been destroyed because of accusations of racism. What makes racism so much worse than other forms of discrimination?
Racism is considered worse than other forms of discrimination in the West because of perception. Discrimination is not intrinsically bad. Discrimination is an act of showing preference for one person, people, groups of people, or things over others. People discriminate all the time, and it is necessary to make decisions. For example, a good hiring process involves discriminating in favour of people who are the best fit for a job. This could be based on ability, experience, attitude, work ethic, complementary skills to existing staff, etc. In many cases, it is a combination of factors.
Discrimination is negative when it is strategically planned to pursue an agenda or, more typically, induced by prejudice. Prejudice can be described as a uninformed opinion or perception about a people, a group of people, or things. It is typically negative in nature. Discrimination based on prejudice is negative.
The extent of this negativity depends on the acts of discrimination. It could be something relatively harmless such as avoiding a particular type of food because of lack of familiarity. It could be something far more dangerous such as killing someone because of a sticker on his car that implies he was part of a political party that was rumoured to be linked to child trafficking.
I discuss prejudice and discrimination in detail in my post, Prejudice Induced Discrimination.
Is Racism a Form of Discrimination Based on Prejudice?
In terms of genetics, race does not exist. All humans are genetically 99.9% the same; they cannot, through genetics, be segregated into separate sub-species (i.e., races). Despite genetic similarities, different physical features can distinguish different groups of people from each other. Prior to the availability of technology and knowledge of genetics, race was determined based on physical appearance. This classification was primarily based on skull shape and dental traits. These races were Caucasoid, Negroid, Mongoloid, and Australoid. These four defined races looked quite different from each other because of the traits outlined as well as because of differences in skin colour and hair type.
People conceptualise race based on what they see. Native Europeans (predominantly Caucasoid) look noticeably different from West Africans (predominantly Negroid). Hence, race exists because people see it to exist. Genetics does not blind people to visual difference. For example, dogs, like humans, are also roughly 99.9% the same genetically, yet they look very different in appearance. For example, Great Danes and Chihuahuas. Despite the genetic similarities, the differences in appearance between them are glaringly obvious (Brainly).
Dogs do not only look different but also have different abilities. This is because of specialised breeding. Border Collies were bred for focus and herding instinct. Bloodhounds were bred for enhanced senses of smell. Bulldogs were bred for bull baiting. People discriminate in favour of particular dog breeds based on their ability to perform certain tasks. It does not necessarily mean any dog breed is overall superior to another dog breed. It just means certain breeds are superior based on certain circumstances.
Have humans ever been bred based on certain characteristics? There is a high chance this would have occurred somewhere at some point in time. Slavery has existed for thousands of years. At some point, the leaders of at least one civilisation would have decided to breed humans for particular characteristics. The Roman Empire, the ancient Greeks, Korean dynasties, the Ottoman Empire, and many others bred slaves for multiple generations. The Romans and ancient Greeks were pioneers in breeding animals for particular traits. Why would they not breed slaves in a similar manner for different purposes? They were regarded as little more than property in the same way animals were.
Evidence of human breeding for traits was either not recorded or evidence has been destroyed from ancient times. However, there is evidence from the Atlantic slave trade that African slaves were, to a certain extent, bred for particular traits. Female African slaves were often forced to breed with large strong males to produce larger offspring. Female African slaves were often raped by their owners, which produced mixed-race children, who would fetch a higher price to work as house servants (The Good Men Project).
There are noticeable areas of differences between races in certain innate abilities. For example, people of African origin dominate running events such as the 100-metre sprint, and people of European origin dominate swimming events. People of African origin, on average, have a higher centre of gravity. This is because, on average, they have longer arms and legs. The higher centre of gravity gives them an advantage when it comes to running fast but a disadvantage when it comes to swimming fast (Not Politically Correct). This does not mean people of European origin cannot run fast, nor people of African origin cannot swim fast. It just means that at an elite level. They are disadvantaged and far less likely to become the best in the world.
An interesting sport to study is American Football (NFL). Different positions require different skillsets. This has led to positions being dominated by a particular race. For example, the offensive line. Players on the interior of the line, such as the centre and guards, tend to be of European descent (75% and 55% respectively). While players at the end of the line, tackles tend to be of African descent (55%).
Players of African descent dominate speed positions such as wide receiver, running back, and cornerback (86%, 91%, and 96%, respectively) (Andscape). Players of African descent dominate positions that require greater athleticism and speed. Players of European descent dominate positions that require a lower centre of gravity such as centres.
At an elite level, the physical differences between races are apparent. However, the number of elite professional athletes is a relatively small percentage of the overall population. At an amateur level, athletes should be able to overcome small differences in biology. The differences in physical ability appear far more likely to be a product of natural selection than any form of specialised breeding that could have been a product of slavery.
A more important question: does race affect a person’s mental aptitude? Mental aptitude is considerably more important to overall human achievement than differences in physical aptitude. This question is difficult to answer definitively because there are so many factors that influence mental aptitude. Such factors include:
- Culture
- Family background and dynamics
- Family wealth and social standing
- Community support
- Quality of available education
- Availability of opportunities
- Various forms of discrimination
All of the above could play a significant role in influencing a person’s mental aptitude. To untangle which factor has the most significant effect is difficult. If any answer implied race or ethnicity played a significant role, it would be met with disdain given Western perceptions regarding race.
Despite the numerous possible determinants of a person’s mental aptitude, they do not adequately explain the superiority that Ashkenazi Jews have shown over non-Jewish Europeans, who have grown up in similar environments with similar opportunities. Research suggests that Ashkenazi Jews have an IQ up to one standard deviation higher than the average European. This equates to an average IQ ranging from 112 to 115 (Cochran, Hardy, and Harpending).
Ashkenazi Jews make up only 0.2% to 0.25% of the world’s population. However, they have achieved amazing intellectual feats. They account for 22% of all Nobel Prizes across scientific categories and have been half of all world chess champions (Cochran, Hardy, and Harpending). Ashkenazi Jews are also disproportionately successful in areas of entertainment and business. More than a quarter of the top 400 richest Americans are Jews (The UNZ Review). Most of these are likely to be Ashkenazi Jews, considering about two-thirds of American Jews are Ashkenazi. Their disproportionately high IQ would have played an important role in their intellectual success.
Does having a higher likelihood of a high IQ make the Ashkenazi Jews superior to other ethnicities? A high IQ is an important advantage, but it is only one contributing factor to a person’s success. It is important to note that not all Ashkenazi Jews have a high IQ; it is only higher on average. To discriminate in favour of an Ashkenazi Jew based purely on ethnicity is still a form of prejudice-induced discrimination because we are still ignorant of the traits of that individual person.
Why Is Racism Such a Taboo Form of Discrimination in the West?
Slaves throughout history have been treated horrendously. Slavery in the US is remembered more vividly than other slavery because it is a part of recent history and formed a key narrative for the American Civil War/Second War of Independence. The period of slavery, as well as the century that followed the abolishment of it, marked an era of abject racism towards African Americans from mostly European Americans.
Slavery does not begin as racism. It begins with a conquering group dominating a conquered group. The conquered are not necessarily a different race or even ethnicity from the conquerors. They are deemed inferior because they have been conquered. The Atlantic slave trade did not begin as an act of racism. European nations colonised most of Africa. However, they rarely captured Africans to be slaves. Instead, they used wealthy African rulers and merchants to capture their own people to send to the Americas as slaves (Crispus Attucks).
Once the African slaves had been relocated to the Americas. Africans became associated as being slaves. Slaves are property and considered lesser than the free people. This led to the racism towards the African slaves, who made up almost the entire population of slaves in the USA during the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. Abolition of slavery did not immediately create acceptance for African Americans.
After the reconstruction period, which ended in 1877, African American citizens were treated as lower citizens for almost another century. They were deprived of the right to vote in elections, the right to hold certain offices and appointments, education opportunities, job opportunities, legal protections, rights to land ownership, and many other things. They frequently faced brutal acts of racism from American citizens of mostly European descent (e.g., Ku Klux Klan brutality) and even authority figures (National Museum of African American History and Culture).
After World War 2, the US became the most powerful nation in the world. Europe had been decimated by war while the US mainland was untouched. The US became the economic, military, information, and entertainment leaders of the world. Their influence spread around the world. However, their dark problems of racism continued. Their problems became well known across the entire Western world. Since the primary culprits of racism were the former European immigrants, it was a reminder to the Europeans of their past actions and involvement in the slave trade (Matherne).
Towards the end of the twentieth century, after a series of reforms and shifts in public opinion and perception, racism towards African Americans began to fall substantially. This led to a culture of guilt among many of the Americans of European descent. Political parties and the media reinforced this guilt. Racism became one of the biggest taboos in America. This guilt was now something the political class could exploit.
US culture and influence continued to expand around the world. The US culture was the leader of Western culture. The American taboo of racism became the taboo for the whole West. To be perceived as racist became one of the biggest insults imaginable to a Western person. This taboo remains until this day.
The American experience of racism did not only mean racism was a taboo, but it also set the direction of racism. Americans of European descent had a greater capacity to commit harmful acts based on racist ideology towards Americans of African descent. Those of European descent were wealthier, held more positions of power, and greatly outnumbered those of African descent.
Racism is naturally met with racism. It is self-perpetuating. Generations of racism has deeply traumatised African Americans. The trauma of racism experienced by past generations can be passed on to later generations (Exploring health). For many, this has led to the mentality that racism still remains a strong threat to them. Ironically, this fear leads to racism towards the race of their abusers.
In the US, reverse racism for past generations' actions has not become a phenomenon. This has not been the case in South Africa. According to Elon Musk, new South African laws are strongly biased against ‘white’ people (Newsday). There are also numerous cases of European-descent farmers (nicknamed 'Boer') being attacked and killed by Africans (Newsday).
Western ‘left-wing’ political parties have perpetuated the ideology that racism is primarily directed towards minority groups. In essence, they have labelled people of European descent as inherently racist. Racist behaviour of minorities is overlooked as a justified response to past and even present repression. The ideology pushed by ‘left-wing’ political parties and activists has fuelled racism. It villainises people of European descent. This reinforces fears that many minorities have towards people of European descent and also creates self-loathing in some people of European descent.
DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) schemes put people of European descent at a disadvantage in areas they have previously dominated. These schemes disincentivise people of African descent and other ethnic minorities to excel and compete. It teaches them to accept that they are perennially disadvantaged or even inferior to people, who are required to achieve higher standards. DEI has become a tool that hurts all races and has fuelled racism in Western countries.
Imported Racism
Europe has had a large influx of immigrants from outside of Europe. I have discussed mass immigration to Europe at length in posts such as Global Collapse – Part 5B: Global Civil War and Global Conflict and Replacement Migration. Most of these non-Europeans have very different cultures from Europeans and have different influences on their cultures.
The taboo of racism in the West is one of the main reasons Western countries can be considered the least racist countries in the world. See the figure below for a list of the countries that are considered least racist based on a US study.
Source: World Population Review
The countries that are the most racist, based on available data from surveys, are coloured in dark blue in the figure below.
Source: World Population Review
The majority of immigrants entering Europe are coming from countries where racism is considerably more prevalent than in any of the European countries. Most of these immigrants come from North African, South Asian, and Middle Eastern countries (World Migration Report).
Racism within these countries, South Asia in particular, is not considered taboo. To a certain extent it is normalised within their culture (The Catalyst Project). When people from these countries immigrate to Europe, they bring their values with them, which logically include racism.
European Governments and media, which predominantly promote their contemporary versions of ‘centrist and left-wing’ politics, frame racism as a European, often referred to as a 'White', phenomenon. Therefore, when immigrants display racist behaviour towards the native Europeans they are excused. European Government policies even encourage immigrants to accuse native Europeans of racism towards them as an excuse to obtain some benefit or get away with violent actions.
The most prominent recent example of the use of racism as a cover for violence is the murder case of Henry Novak. The brother of Vickrum Gigwa, the man who murdered Henry, called the police, claiming Henry was the attacker and was racially motivated. The police arrived and arrested Henry, who was bleeding to death at the time (NBC News).
The above murder was an extreme case of racism being weaponised, but such false accusations are not uncommon. Even if accusations are not intentionally false, they are overly sensitive to behaviour that most likely has nothing to do with racist ideology or intentions. This has led to many European people becoming extremely cautious in their actions, which has led to immigrants/minorities getting away with abuse that many are afraid to call out of fear of being called racist (BBC), which can have a high price.
A recent example in the UK is the rape gang cases. These were mostly perpetrated by Pakistani men (The Commune). It is believed that the hesitation of police to act was because of fear of accusations of racism.
The combination of unpunished racism, racism accusations, and perceived Government bias in favour of minorities sparks anger in many in the European populations. The increase in the number of violent crimes such as rape, sexual assault and terrorist attacks by a disproportionate number of immigrants fuels this anger even further.
‘Right-wing’ political parties and activists exploit this anger by emphasising the problems caused by immigrants. The taboo of racism has made Europeans in general tolerant of other races, but many have reached their breaking point. This leads to many of them becoming anti-immigrant. Hence, opposed to the non-European races. This causes the racism of Europeans towards non-Europeans to increase. If 'right-wing' parties gain power in European countries, we are likely to see racism towards immigrants and minorities increase.
Racial Divide and Conquer and Advancement of Establishment Agendas
Divide-and-conquer strategies have always featured as prominent parts of the Establishment’s playbook. It serves the purpose of keeping people fighting among themselves rather than against the Government or Establishment. It also protects the Western-style democratic systems. Political parties can take sides in a pretend attempt to appease their political bases.
In the current environment, ‘left-wing’ parties have encouraged immigration and offered them significant benefits. They have exploited the taboo of racism to gain support from a large proportion of their population. This has continued to the point that growing proportions of the native European populations have become angered by the increasing number of immigrants and their disrespect for their country and culture.
The ‘right-wing’ parties have used this anger and the arguments behind them to fuel the anger further. Ultimately the ‘left-wing’ and ‘right-wing’ parties are working together to create social tension and even social unrest.
It appears the current situation is more than just a typical divide and conquer strategy. Europe and the Europeans are facing a myriad of various crises that appear to be only growing worse. The growing social tensions could be the final problem that could lead to the social collapse of many European countries.
The potential new massive inflow of asylum seekers from Africa in the coming years could lead to catastrophic social unrest. With the help of the political parties, this could lead to civil war. See the second half of my post, Strait of Hormuz and the Iran War – Part 2: Reasons for War and the Bigger Agenda for a detailed explanation of this likely crisis.
To understand why I believe the Establishment intend the downfall of European countries, read my post, Deliberate Incompetence as a Cover for Self-Destructive Policy.
Conclusion
Racism is acts of discrimination towards someone of a perceived different race or ethnicity. It is mostly based on some form of prejudice (uninformed opinions). However, in some rare cases, racism can have some form of justification. For example, racial profiling for certain crimes. People of darker skin are more likely to be stopped and searched by police because of profiling (Springer). The police making the stop may not be racist, but the guidelines they are following are. Such guidelines can lead to more arrests, but they come at the expense of people with darker skin.
The damage caused by racism can vary significantly. It may lead to someone feeling uncomfortable, often experienced by minorities in many Western countries, to mass murder, like the 1994 genocide in Rwanda. The extent of harm caused by racism directly depends on the acts of racism. Individual acts of racism are not necessarily worse than other forms of prejudice-induced discrimination. However, racism has been politicised more so than any other form of discrimination. This is a form of strategic discrimination, which is often more dangerous than prejudice-induced discrimination.
Governments have used race to turn people against each other to facilitate horrendous acts of violence. In some cases, they have been the main culprits of these acts of violence, e.g., the Holocaust in Europe during World War 2. Tragically, the weaponisation of racism is becoming worse. I believe the chances of race-induced violence in Europe are highly likely in the coming years. This violence will come from both the native Europeans and the non-European immigrants.
The Sapien Loop Series
I have written a trilogy of books titled Sapien Loop. The first in the series is Sapien Loop: End of an Era, the second is Sapien Loop: Frozen in Time, and the third is Sapien Loop: Worlds Collide. I published the whole series as ebooks on Amazon, and I have posted completed chapters to my @captainhive
In 2025, I wrote a short stories book about some of the characters and their adventures. This book is now available on Amazon. I have also posted these stories to my @captainhive account.
Brief Summary of Sapien Loop: End of an Era
This story is based on the fictional planet Sapia and its sole country, Sapey. Sapey is portrayed as a form of utopia for all its citizens. No poverty. No war. Almost no crime. Opportunities for all.
This was enough for most citizens, but not all. In one of the small regions, some of the citizens had become discontent. They felt something important was missing in their lives. Their discontent did not go unnoticed. Some of the Sapey elite wanted to weaponise this discontent to gain more power. This created more chaos than they anticipated. This led to further widespread social unrest.
On top of the chaos, ambition and greed provoked another enemy. This enemy was on a mission to settle both new and old scores.
Brief Summary of Sapien Loop: Frozen in Time
This story is based six years after the original story. The Downs Region is still suffering from a serious health crisis caused by the contaminated water. The main characters are desperately trying to find a cure for the illness that has been caused by the water.
One of the main characters has discovered frozen humanoids in hidden chambers. It appears they have been frozen for a long time. These chambers connect to a vast network of tunnels. While exploring the tunnels, one of the frozen humanoids disappears. It appears he has been stolen.
The story takes a step back in time to tell the story of the frozen humanoids. How and why were they frozen? This part of the story also explains the fall of ancient Sapey and the birth of the Sapiens. Can those from the past be able to coexist with those from the present?
Brief Summary of Sapien Loop: Worlds Collide
Sapien Loop: Worlds Collide continues the story directly after the events of the second book. Orcilla and Yassmay continue their journey to find help. In doing so, they encounter a dissident group from the underground world.
Tiberius is secured as the puppet leader for the underground Linap. He is being used to control the surface world from the Downs Region. Tiberius is unhappy with this arrangement and desires to be fully in control.
Resistance has formed to take back the Downs Region from Tiberius and the underground Linap. They aim to turn the underground population against Tiberius. If that fails, their only hope is to join forces with the dissident group Orcilla and Yassmay encountered.
All worlds may be destined to collide. Will Sapey finally be free of tyranny, is it destined to be destroyed, or is it locked into another loop of oppression?
