I've not posted recently, for a variety of reasons. In part I've been very busy, but I've also hit a sad patch of life and I've been in a funk.
I've decided to get out of this funk by forcing myself to post more, at the least once a day. If all goes well, this will not only help my mood, but will move me toward my goal of getting out of "red fish" status by the end of this year. At this point I basically need 450 SP to achieve this goal. Assuming that I can earn around 3 Steem per video post I this will only take 150 posts. :) Is this reasonable? I suppose we'll find out.
For most of these posts I'll be using this setup. I have a Samsung S8+ recording video held about in inches above the table, recording 1920x1080p 16:9 2.0 MP, 30 fps, 30 Mbps. Audio recorded by Blue Yeti that is sitting off of the table, mono, and unidirectional. The lights in the room are off except for a 40 W lamp located 3 inches from the top of the page, using tracing paper as a light diffuser. I wish I could better stabilize the video and remove the sound of the pens scratching on the video, but this is going to require a significant change in hardware.
