As you all know, the pandemic came as a surprise and many of our jobs were interrupted, so in my case in the music field we had two years without being able to go to our workplace and of course not being able to teach our traditional face-to-face classes. Each of the students and teachers embarked on a new path and implemented new routines from home.
About a month ago my mom who is the coordinator of the nucleus where I work had the objective of organizing a "virtual" concert that showed the great work that teachers are doing from home, therefore, she made all the necessary requests for them to approve the event and make a great concert. Of course we had to be complying with all the bio-security measures, but at least for me it turned out to be very difficult not to receive my students with a hug or a kiss as we normally were.

The concert involved several musical projects called: Orchestra "Alma llanera" who performs mostly Venezuelan folkloric songs, a trumpet ensemble performing symphonic repertoire and an initial program where the little ones with children's themes participated. In general the parents were very excited because as I say they had a lot of time without coming to the core, therefore, they were very motivated to support their children and enter them back into the musical world.
As for the pieces performed by the orchestra "Alma llanera" we have a pasodoble called "Luz Alejandra" composed by a tachirense (composer from my region), our second Venezuelan anthem "Alma llanera", a bolero called "San Cristóbal" composed by the tachirense Chucho Corrales, the popular theme "Moliendo café" and finally a waltz called "Cantares de primavera", which, they were well received by the excited public. In addition, the brass ensemble performed the "Prelude and fugue for trumpet choir".
I personally take care of supporting my violin students by helping them tune the instrument and playing in the same way to support the whole orchestra. Finally, everything went very well and we remember among all good moments of the musical field lived in this place, talking, in addition, about the possibility of returning very soon to our old routine if the situation allows it.
