Hello friends, I hope you're having a lovely day. I didn’t want to miss the chance to participate in this round of the Reflection Hunters contest, so I rolled up my sleeves and tried to capture the reflection of a drop of water as it fell. I must admit it didn’t turn out as I expected—despite several attempts, the result wasn’t quite what I was aiming for.

Hola amigos, espero que estén teniendo un muy lindo día. Hoy no quería perder la oportunidad de participar en la búsqueda de una reflexión para mostrarles, así que puse manos a la obra e intenté capturar el reflejo de una gota de agua al caer. Confieso que no quedó como esperaba—aunque hice varios intentos, el resultado no se ajusta del todo a lo que quería.

I used the Snapseed app to edit my photos because it helps me adjust blurs and colors so the drop stands out from the background. That blur effect, I think, is what gives the final image a little glow. I love watching water drops fall and light up for a moment, and I’d love to capture that perfect instant one day. Even if these shots didn’t match what I had imagined, I truly liked them—and I’m also sharing the failed attempts, since sometimes the process is as enjoyable as the result.

Utilizo la aplicación Snapseed para editar mis fotos porque me permite ajustar los desenfoques y los colores para que la gota resalte del fondo. Creo que ese desenfoque es lo que le da cierto brillo a la imagen final. Me gusta mucho ver las gotas de agua caer y cómo se iluminan por un instante, y me encantaría algún día poder capturar ese momento exacto con precisión. Aunque estas fotos no quedaron como las imaginaba, me gustaron mucho—y también comparto los intentos fallidos, porque a veces el proceso es tan disfrutable como el resultado.
