Hello friends and community of Let's Make a Collage. I'm eager to start this round and I'm one step closer to my goal of 5 entries in a row. To make this artwork, I wanted to keep the essence of the original photograph and its most prominent element, which is the red and white tent you see in the distance. Then, after brainstorming ideas, I decided to do something related to the circus. I thought of possible variations and decided on a surreal scene where an elephant escapes from the circus with the help of balloons. I used brushes and a photo of a folded paper taken by me to give it the effect of an old photograph. I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Hola amigos y comunidad de Let’s Make a Collage. Estoy ansioso por comenzar este round y estoy un paso más cerca de mi meta de 5 entradas seguidas. Para realizar este trabajo, quise mantener la esencia de la fotografía original y su elemento más destacado, que es la carpa roja y blanca que se ve a lo lejos. Entonces, después de una lluvia de ideas, me decanté por hacer algo relacionado con el circo. Pensé en posibles variantes y me decidí por una escena surrealista donde un elefante escapa del circo con ayuda de unos globos. Utilicé pinceles y una foto de un papel doblado tomada por mi para darle el efecto de una fotografía antigua. Espero que les guste tanto como yo disfruté creándola.
