I really enjoy it when inspiration comes from marine themes. The first time I participated in the community was with this theme almost a year ago. The image for this occasion featured a beautiful lake or a coastal area, so the first idea that came to mind was to choose a surreal theme related to water—and what better theme than the Aquarius zodiac sign?
Me gusta mucho cuando la inspiración viene de temáticas marinas. La primera vez que participé en la comunidad fue con esta temática hace casi un año. La imagen de esta ocasión venía con un hermoso lago o una zona costera, así que lo primero que se me ocurrió fue escoger un tema surrealista relacionado con el agua, y qué mejor tema que el signo Acuario del zodiaco.
Little by little, I gathered all the images I needed, all from Pixabay and LMAC Gallery. In the end, as always, I included the resources I used. I really liked the fossilized snail horn on the girl’s head—I think it adds an even more marine touch. In the end, I decided to focus on just a fragment of everything I created because I felt it showcased a better composition than the full image.

Me gustó mucho el fósil de caracol en forma de cuerno en la cabeza de la chica; creo que le da aún un toque más marino. To conclude, and as you well know, I am a huge fan of textures, so I couldn’t skip a good texture to simulate the fresco effect, along with an adjustment layer and color corrections. As always, I will share the entire process in animation format and the resources.
