Hello, friends of Hive, here I am again with this space that I opened in my profile to write about emotions, mine and others too ... with the hope that touching these issues will bring us closer and make us more empathetic with others.
Today I am going to write about a topic that I live daily and that is the migratory grief.
Venezuela has become the exporting country of people, thanks to a crisis that affected everyone, and the grief is not only experienced by those who leave, but also by those who remain in the country.
When he was still in Venezuela he had lost count of how many friends and family had left, he felt the absence of each one of them.
Now I am in another country and the more I talk with all of us who have emigrated, the more I discover how strong the internal pain that each one of us carries.
It is wonderful to know other places, surround yourself with different people, even learn new ways of communicating, but there is always an emptiness that accompanies you, a missing piece, an absence that hurts.
In Venezuela, almost all of us grew up very close to the family and one misses feeling in a familiar place, but they all comment that it improves with the years, with new habits and customs.
You know that I write about what I feel and am, I like to listen to the stories of others, I like to connect with reality.
We are all learning forceful things, those who stay in the country also suffer from absence, they also experience a duel, those of us who leave yearn for everything, that longing makes us strive for ours.
I always write to make visible what many are silent, those that others suffer, because I believe that there is no better way to live than to feel empathy and open the heart.
I know people in Venezuela who also feel lonely, who feel that they live in another place because the places are not the same, because half of their family is far away or because their best friends have left, this migratory process affects us all and it is healthy to talk about it and stay close to people who can understand it.
The important thing is to know that no one is going through this alone and that we can all understand what it feels like, keep busy with things that make you happy, talk whenever you need to, and if you dare, tell me about your experience here.
We are all doing the best we can be it in Venezuela or in another part of the world, feel proud to be brave every day and live your life with love.
