Nuestro autoestima / ¿Subirlo o mantenerlo?
Hola Hola
¿Quién no?.
English
Our self-esteem / Raise it or maintain it?
Hello Hello
There are times when we feel that we don't like something in our body or personality, as I told you, it can be something physical or something internal to our way of being. Sometimes they are both things at the same time. Have you attacked yourself because your self-esteem is on the floor?
Despite the fact that I have always been a person who attracts attention and has always been told that she is beautiful, inside and out, I often have self-esteem problems, it is normal to have them. Who does not?.
There may be someone next to you telling you how beautiful you are, but inside you look in the mirror and you don't like what you see, what comes out of your mouth makes you think that what you said was not right, even if it were .
Fighting with yourself over those details is an internal war that many of us have, it's rare to see someone who likes themselves 100%, even if they don't admit it, there's always something they don't like. Many times they do not look in the mirror for that reason and say "be fine".
Many times it is because they criticized us as children, they made us understand that it is wrong to be that way, for example, being overweight, even if you were not there. Power nicknames to people, among many things.
I have been called reckless in particular, but why? That has many factors, such as being different from the rest. I have learned over the years, thanks to my experience to shut my mouth, not completely. Many times I can be hurtful, but it's natural to me.
Perhaps if the way of teaching people changes, our parents and we as parents must find the best way to express ourselves to our children without creating insecurities. Do you have to change the way you think? You have to change it.
Those insecurities affect our self-esteem, that's where the issue of feet, hands comes from, if they're not fixed they're ugly, if you comb your hair or leave it natural. They taught us that if people are fixed, they are more reliable than those who are not.
Emotionally it affects society and it has been dragging us all for years, it is not new. Is this social pressure good for the new generations? I make it difficult for all the inclusion movement to be so, but will it affect those who are not in that heap?
I wonder if all my life it will continue to be a mental annoyance to think about the physical form of something in my body, or there will just come a time when I will get over it. Don't know. Will I learn not to be impulsive? Don't know. It is something that time will tell.
For the moment, I will fulfill my role of creating strong children, at least those who are close to me, to teach them that being different is okay and especially the child who lives in my house, who accepts himself and knows that he is great for what he is.
They always see something that we have in our physique to give us nicknames, which I am fighting because I don't like “fat” very much. Could it be that I am very overprotective? Who tells me no, please?
The important thing about all this is learning to love ourselves for who we are, it's not easy but here we go.
Let's accept each other.
