Hacerle la tareas a los hijos / Eduquemos
Hola Hola

Do the children's homework / Let's educate
Hello Hello
Doing our children's homework is NOT teaching them anything, it is creating someone dependent on you and I don't know a functional adult, but… There is always a but. I always make César do his homework, including his display boards, I want him to do them himself so that he learns to know how to make his own support material from a young age.
We ourselves are the ones who guide our own experiences when exposing. That is, which words are more difficult for us to remember, what is the most relevant thing to say and highlight, the longest thing you want to shorten and explain with graphics, among others.
At the moment, due to his level of education, César has had simple and easy exhibitions to draw, to make a simple sheet, a bird, a fish, the flag, among others. I always helped him write the titles and he added color. All good there.
So, yesterday I was inspired, always with the theme that César is the one who has to do it, since yesterday was a hectic day and I wanted him to wear a pretty print, since the girls who study with him always wear pretty print.
So I made his print for César Gabriel for his shark exhibition. I still have the doubt if we are doing the right thing to do the print, but because I always leave everything to the last minute or I don't get inspired on time, I do everything the day before the event.
Although he has always done them, this time I put a lot of content in it for what he was getting used to, I preferred that he learn it while I was doing the slide than overload him with work, despite everything, he is 8 years old.
So I grabbed the sheet, google "how to make shark for kids?". Yes, for children, because I don't draw much, but I think I did an excellent job. I'm proud of my work, I don't think I've ever started making a sheet.
I think that as a student, mom and whatever you want to think about, this was more of a lesson for me than for César, doing this has unlocked something in me that told me to let go of fear and unleash my creativity. I got distracted, relaxed, felt like I was meditating, it was therapeutic. The truth.
I don't think it was so bad, it was bad to teach César that I can do it, also the satisfaction of the child to say that his mother did it, to teach him that he can also have elaborate, colorful and beautiful exhibition plates.
His teacher tells me that he did the presentation very well, she told me that it was excellent, of course, I made an effort to create more extensive material for him than on other occasions, believing that what I put on him was good for him to learn. On this occasion I realized that he can do more, the truth is that he knew it, he just hadn't put it into practice.
This was all my analysis, each mother reacts and resolves as she can, while last year I was crying with sadness because of my son's reactions, today I enjoy every minute I spend with him, we are emotionally healthy and that is very good.
A hug.
