Happy Halloween Guys!!!
My head producer Qrittix hooked me up this week with a Halloween Theme Instrumental he had been working on. The track is an Electronic Pop Halloween Vibe with some cool Joker Sample Clips and a fun play with lyrics. I wanted to take a serious pull with the lyrics make it something fun but relevant. The lyrics are about Words being like monsters. Today there is a division in American and across the planet. There is so much information hitting us from all directions. I was influenced here by Donald Trump Tweets, the hateful name calling and ARtists like Eminem drawing a line in the sand for his fans over a political mess. Artists we are suppose to bring people together through expression, not divide further.
So without further ado here is our holiday halloween theme track
Monsters!!
Lyrics
I get tired sometimes, of all the madness,
I get lost in my mind, with all the blackness,
there's something so unnerving with this religion,
there's something so disturbing, in societies prison,
we're letting out the monsters
as you can see
I'm faced with a monster
inside of me
Words, powerful words,
drawing a line in the sand,
words powerful words,
we give the monsters permission,
words powerful words,
flashing above the land,
words, powerful words,
monsters for division
I cant seem to find all the pieces,
and I know I want to free my mind from all the leaches,
there is something so unnerving in all the news,
there is something so disturbing in all of your truths
Words, powerful words,
drawing a line in the sand,
words powerful words,
we give the monsters permission,
words powerful words,
flashing above the land,
words, powerful words,
monsters for division
Words can inspire me,
words can destroy me,
Words can inspire me,
words can destroy me,
if I choose them wisely the monsters avoid me,
words can protect me,
words can reject me,
if I take in to much the monsters will get me
Thanks for listening guys
Have a safe and happy Halloween
