Himachal Pradesh, India which is famous for high attitude cities like Shimla , manali , dharmshala etc.
Tour of himachal is incomplete with Kalpa . When I visited himachal I got to know about this place. As I went with my family , I asked my dad to take a detour to this place. My dad agreed.
so we started out tour to this place from Shimla (the capital city), it was around 4- 5 hour journey.
the distance is measured approximately to around 200 km but took so long because of the roads.
the roads were not so good , I would not blame the state government for the maintenance as there were regular landslides , but the journey was adventurous.
As we were getting close the place which was close to our destination, our excitement started increasing, as we saw snow covered tall mountains which what we came to see from day to day city life in Mumbai. The view was fabulous, you just say the picture postcard view.
As we were getting closer to the range, roads were getting bad , as it was summer time landslides were less and we didn’t face any landslides during our tour.
This district was near to indo Tibet border, it was around 20- 30 km .
Then finally got view full view snow covered mountains, the feeling of pure beauty nature. No words to express the feeling.
Finally we reached the destination kalpa, from where we would the see the breath taking view kinnuar Kailash. There is a different story behind it why is named after mt. Kailash in TIBET.
We were lucky enough to get a room in a hotel from where we could constantly view the Kinnur Kailash range.
We sat in the balcony for a while simply admiring the beauty whilst resting after a tiring journey from Shimla.
